I write the way I speak, maybe with more clarity because I have time to think more. Hopefully as I write out my journey to becoming a more godly man, it will inspire that same desire in others. I'm God's handiwork, He's the one working on the Project, I just want to get on board with what He's doing!

This week, Pastor Mike Bronson spoke from Matthew 9, on how our focus needs to be the same as God's. Jesus chose a tax collector, someone who was considered to be one of the lowest of the low, to follow Him around and learn from Him. Just as with Matthew, Jesus knows our flaws, our past and all we've done, and He wants us to follow Him anyways. Do we then settle down into a system that we create which works for us? Or is reaching lost people the most important thing to us, as it is to God? What is most important to God should be most important to us. We need to take the opportunities that God provides - talking to people about God, praying for them, living out God's love on a daily basis.
