I write the way I speak, maybe with more clarity because I have time to think more. Hopefully as I write out my journey to becoming a more godly man, it will inspire that same desire in others. I'm God's handiwork, He's the one working on the Project, I just want to get on board with what He's doing!

I read the first 3 chapters of Galatians today, and noticed that chapter 1, verses 8-9 sound kind of harsh at first, but as I thought more about it, if someone is preaching 'good news' that doesn't involve Christ saving us, is it really good news? Besides, anything that takes people away from the relationship that they can have with God, the most honest, loving, fulfilling relationship they can have, and in doing so takes away the hope of eternity by replacing the truth with a lie, is not good in the least. In Mark 9:42, Jesus says, "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck." It's a serious thing to get in between a man and his bride, or a father and his child, how much more serious when you get in between Jesus and His bride, the church, or God and His children? These verses in Galatians are saying that distorting or perverting the message of His grace to us is harmful to us, and He won't stand for it. God loves us far too much to just leave us to the devices of those who want to have control rather than wanting to allow people to experience the love and freedom that God has for them.
