I write the way I speak, maybe with more clarity because I have time to think more. Hopefully as I write out my journey to becoming a more godly man, it will inspire that same desire in others. I'm God's handiwork, He's the one working on the Project, I just want to get on board with what He's doing!

This week we had a guest speaker at church. Pastor Jason Small talked about staying strong under pressure. As with David in 1 Samuel 30, we can find that strength in God. We can get swallowed up in the pressure when we forget that the Lord is with us, however when we seek Him in the middle of the pressure, His presence does amazing things. It produces a peace that will guard our hearts and minds, it produces His strength in our lives, and it results in the miraculous as we are in the position of needing a miracle. Like a diamond is made from putting a lot of pressure on carbon, God can use pressure to create beauty in us. It's up to us to trust in what He's doing, and what He will do, and move forward to that victory. As Pastor Jason said, victory happens in motion, in relationship, and in time.
