I write the way I speak, maybe with more clarity because I have time to think more. Hopefully as I write out my journey to becoming a more godly man, it will inspire that same desire in others. I'm God's handiwork, He's the one working on the Project, I just want to get on board with what He's doing!

I was reading Acts 9 & 10 today, and noticed that God has a way of changing and correcting our thinking when we listen to Him. In Acts 9, He took the toughest opponent of Christianity and showed him the truth - after that Saul, whose name was changed to Paul, never persecuted Christians again. In fact, he himself suffered persecution, even leading to his death, yet his faith never wavered, and he did the best he could to pass the good news on to as many as possible. In Acts 10, God showed Peter that the good news was for everyone, not just for the Jews, causing him to rethink his preconceptions and embrace God's plan. In both cases, their whole way of thinking needed to change to accept God's way, and in both cases, His way was infinitely better, and blessed many people. I want to pay attention and listen for God's voice, so that if He tells me I need to change my way of thinking about something, that I'll be ready.
