Pastor Kip spoke today about the global church, and understanding that our experiences fit into a master plan that God has been working out since the beginning, and will continue until the end of time. God's plan was always to reach all nations, and all peoples, because He loves us all. I'm glad that God's plan is greater than my understanding, because even when I think I understand, something often happens to show that my understanding is incomplete. I'm glad that God can make use of an imperfect person with incomplete understanding to be a part of how He works out His perfect plan. Come to think of it, He can better use someone who is willing but unskilled over someone who is skilled but unwilling. I think that's because He can and will give His power to those who need it, but He doesn't force us against our will.
God, make me a more willing servant, obedient and ready to be used by You for Your glory, and Your kingdom. Amen.
