It's good to get together with God's people. This afternoon I went for a hike with some people from 24/7 Church, and it was a pleasure to share stories, enjoy nature, get some exercise and get to know people better.
There's something about community with other Christians that encourages me to follow Him more closely. Knowing that what I do affects those around me is helpful, but knowing who it will affect personally really makes it hit home. Each person I get to know is one more reason to stay committed, the more I get to know them, the stronger that commitment should grow.
God, may I be spurred on to greater obedience and commitment as I get to know You, and get to know our family. Amen.
