Pastor Kip talked about the story of Lazarus at church today, and how even when it seemed like God wasn't doing anything, He had a plan and a purpose that no one else knew about, and that was greater than what anyone else could have expected or hoped for. I know that I can always trust God's plan, even when I don't see Him working, and this is another example of that.
I had a few great conversations at church today too, one more reason being around other Christians is so helpful is that as I talk with others about God, it helps me to sort through my thoughts, and as I listen I can get another side of some things, giving a more full view and helping me to understand more about God and life, and connecting to the community of believers around me.
God, help me to work through the things You're teaching me through Your Word, Pastor Kip's sermons, and conversations with Your people, so I can walk more closely with You. Amen.
