Pastor Kip's message today was about how Jesus came to show that God makes Himself accessible to us, how He brought grace and truth together in a way that we could never have expected or hoped for. He talked about the heart of God being of love for us where we are now, before we have everything together and figured out. I'm thankful to be under the authority of a pastor who looks for God's heart in a matter, and who lives the life that he preaches. The kind of life that God calls me to as a godly man is the kind that is modelled by pastors and mentors, men of integrity who seek the heart of God. May I also be that kind of a light shining in the darkness, so others would see and give glory to God.
