I write the way I speak, maybe with more clarity because I have time to think more. Hopefully as I write out my journey to becoming a more godly man, it will inspire that same desire in others. I'm God's handiwork, He's the one working on the Project, I just want to get on board with what He's doing!

Today, Pastor Kip spoke on rest, feeling stretched, and where we get our worth, from Deuteronomy 5, and Exodus 1 & 5. Work is good, and there are many good things we can do, but rest is essential. God knows that, He designed us that way, and when we don't balance our work with rest, we rob ourselves of the full life that God has called us to. The other factor is that we often place our worth in our work, how much we do, and how well. God says that our value is found in Him. He has done so much to bring us out of bondage into freedom, because He considers us worth it. We need to take time to rest, refresh and remember that our worth is found in God, and the sacrifice He made for us.
