I read the last 3 chapters of 2 Corinthians today, but what was even more on my mind was the idea of seeing people the way God does, and loving them the way that He does. When we're living for God and following His will, I don't think that's as hard to do as we make it out to be. The two main things that I can think of that can get in the way at that point are when we're not looking for those opportunities, and when our agenda gets in the way. In my experience, the more I look for opportunities to love others the way God does, the more opportunities open up. When I prioritize those opportunities over my plans, my agenda, my rights or what I expect, I'm far more likely to take the time for them. In both cases, it's all about availability. God doesn't always use the most qualified, so it's nothing for me to boast about. The ones He uses are often the lowly, weak, simple, uneducated, foolish, unqualified... in short, the average human being. God uses those who are willing and available. Let's have His heart for those around us. Let's be His disciples. Let's love one another, and those around us. That's how they'll know that God loves them, when we allow Him to reflect that love off of us.
