I read Romans 13 & 14 today, and I want to focus in on Romans 13:9-10. "The commandments, 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not covet,' and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' / Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." I just had an interesting chain of thoughts. Love is the fulfillment of the law. God is love. Jesus is God. Jesus came to fulfill the law. I guess that means He literally just had to be Himself! Now for us, since we are not God, we accept Him within us, so that we can love like He does. In so doing, we will not negate the law, but fulfill it by living out the spirit of the law, by just being the people we've been created to be!
